Create an API Key

After registering and signing in, create an access token (API Key) in the console.

Steps

1. Sign in to the Smartx AI console.
2. Open Token Management in the console (usually /console/token).
3. Click Add Token.
4. Set the token name, quota, expiration, model limits, IP restrictions, or other fields as needed. Available fields depend on the current console version.
5. Save and copy the API Key immediately. For security, the full Key may only be shown once after creation.

💡 Tip

Leave model and IP restrictions at their defaults when you do not need them. Before configuring a client, confirm that the token's user group and permissions include the model you want to call.

• Do not commit it to a code repository
• Do not display it publicly
• Mask the Key when asking for configuration help
• Store it in environment variables or a configuration file
• Rotate Keys regularly

Save the Key

Save your Key immediately after creation:
